Tallinn is considered the most picturesque of the three Baltic capital Old Towns, it is however the smallest. They good things come in small packages and Tallinn certainly packs a punch.
Sadly the same cant be said for their National Football team, having failed to qualify for any major European or World stage finals, Estonia has often played second or third best to its sister states.
The most famous Estonian to play abroad was Mart Poom, the imposing goalkeeper played for Derby and Arsenal in a fairly distinguished career. Other than that, you need to be following Estonian football to really know who is who.
Oddly, Estonia is home to the largest and most modern football stadium in the Baltic's, the A. Le Coq Arena...With a capacity of 10,300 it is easily overshadows Skonto stadium in Riga and the LFF stadium in Vilnius.
Tallinn is a great place for a summer tour, football is the number one sport here so finding a local team happy to play you is not too difficult, it is however a little more pricey than both Riga and Vilnius.
